For my bachelorette weekeend we rented a house through VRBO – it was 3 stories, right on Lake Travis! The house was very unique and corky, I loved it!. The first floor had a big living room with huge windows looking over the lake, the kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and Lucy and I’s bedroom. 2 girls slept on futons in the living room and the rest slept on the next floor.
The 2nd floor had a bedroom/living room in one with a bathroom. In the bathroom looks as if there was a big walk in closet but instead it was turned into an extra sleep area. A bunk bed was in there! HAHA! Both of these floors had a huge balcony for us to walk onto. The 2nd floor balcony had a table that we ate breakfast out on. 🙂 Out on the 2nd story balcony there was another set of stairs going up to the rooftop. The roof had an 8 person hot tub and a indoor kitchen area. Amazing! The house was so perfect for a bachelorette party and so much fun. Plus Christy and Sarah decorated it super cute. 🙂
The first night we drove to The Oasis for dinner, a beautiful restaurant right on Lake Travis. After dinner we headed back to the house to start having some fun. Ali brought everyone a golden bag full of goodies. We had gold sunglasses, a black cup, and a wine cup that we all wrote our names on with a gold pen. Ali also surprised me with a gold bluetooth speaker, gold portable phone charger, gold notebook and pen. So sweet!!! I felt so spoiled. We used the gold speaker for music all weekend. 🙂
The 2nd day was exciting. I am an early bird so Lucy and I were up first and got to enjoy the lake view while having my morning coffee. 🙂 After everyone started waking Joanna and I cooked breakfast for everyone and we ate out on the balcony. The only downfall to the weekend was that the weather was crumby-very cloudy and scattered showers. We still had a blast though. After breakfast some more people started to show up. We all hung out for a bit and then Joanna made her delicious chicken salad for lunch. After lunch Sarah had games for us to play-so many laughs. They all took a quiz to see who knew me the best, Christy won!. We then did a scavenger hunt around the house- we all ran around like crazy people looking for our next clue. 🙂 After the scavenger hunt we played Heads Up, a fun iPhone game. For dinner Sheila went all out!! She made us all steak, risotto and shrimp!! It was to die for! We had an amazing dinner together with tears of joy and laughs. After dinner we played more bachelorettte games and ended the night in the rooftop hot tub.
The 3rd day Sheila made another amazing meal for breakfast! We ate like Kings and Queens all weekend. We cleaned, packed up and headed home. I had such a great weekend and felt so loved. It seemed like everyone brought something to the table to make the weekend amazing and extras special.
