We did a pot luck for my wedding DIY craft party. Everyone brought something delicious and we ended up with so much yummy food. We snacked while crafting and got a lot done for the wedding.
Pam and I went to Hobby Lobby the weekend before to stock up on everything we needed. It was my first time there. I was in heaven, Hobby Lobby is Michaels on crack.
Pam had a ton of mason jars in different sizes for us to wrap burlap and lace around. These are for the centerpieces. I plan to have a wood slab on the table with 2 different size decorated mason jars and a small jar with twine tied around it. Flowers will go in the two mason jars. Teresa, Sarah and Christy got a system going on cutting burlap and lace and hot glueing it onto the mason jars.
I also bought a burlap frame and a Mr and Mrs. sign. Sarah hot glued lace to the frame and Joanna painted the sign white with a rustic look to it. I love how everything turned out. My girls are amazing.
Pam worked on the backyard games that we are going to have for the wedding. I bought a wooden crate that she stained to make ring toss. I also had a corn hole set that Pam is working on. We plan to make it look rustic and either carve or stain J&J on the boards. I will upload pictures when the games are finished.
I decided to get the girls a little Valentine’s gift. I put together a box with 2 pairs of fluffy socks, a whole foods Valentine’s candy, a delicious organic Trader Joes chocolate and heart straw glasses.
I threw the craft party in the preschool (the downstairs of my house) :).
Thank you so much Christy, Sarah, Joanna, Pam and Teresa. Y’all are amazing and I love you so much. Thanks for your help and the amazing food. 💗
